I am a 2016 graduate of the Master of Library and Information Science program of San Jose State University’s School of Information. I worked at ECPI University for 7 years as a library assistant. I also worked online as a graduate student assistant at the iSchool and was involved in the re-accreditation project and also the production of the iSchool’s textbook, Information Services Today. I was selected by SJSU as a Kaiser Permanente Scholar and by the Association of Research Libraries as a Career Enhancement Program Fellow. My fellowship was hosted by the National Library of Medicine. I was a member ASIS&T Student Chapter and served as Executive Secretary during the year that the chapter won Student Chapter of the Year Award and I was awarded the New Leader Award for 2015-2016. I am still an active member of the ASIS&T and serve with the Leadership Committee and Knowledge Management Task Force.
